A total of 411 emergency workers who responded to the scene died as they attempted to implement
rescue and fire suppression efforts.
The New yourk fire department (FDNY) lost 341 firefighters and 2 FDNY paramedics
The New york city police department lost 23 officers.
The Port Authority lost 37 officers, as well as a K9 dog named Sirius.
Private EMS units lost 8 additional EMT and paramedics.
Total loss of life...3,385 not including missing or unidentified.

when are the murdering terrorists going to realize there are no virgins waiting for them in heaven only the devil who lives in hell and was there to take their souls when they did the deed that condemmed them to hell for eternity i hope they rot in hell.
this was such a tragic act of terrorism and i hope the families who lost friends or family, try and live life 2 the best they can xx

We mourn their loss this day this year
Those now with God, no danger near
So many loved ones left do stand
Confronting loss throughout our land
My heart goes out to those who do
No one can fathom what they view
I firmly pray for peace of mind
Dear God please help each one to find
And to our soldiers now at war
God guide above, at sea, on shore
They are the best, I have no doubt
Our country’s pride, complete, devout
